This is a wild one.
Teeny tiny seeds from a de facto Dream Team of producers in Sidama, Ethiopia: Bekele Yutute // Bekele Kechara // Nguisse Nare.
Too itsy bitsy to make it into any of their standard lots, Crop to Cup's in-country operative Moata Raya handpicked and set aside these seeds for this über strange and special blended lot billed by Crop to Cup as MURAGO FARMERS C, and we can only assume that the “C” stands either for “COLOSSALLY CUTE CHAOS CRUSHINGLY COALESCING” or simply “COWABUNGA.”
Finished with an expertly executed natural process, this experimental lot wildly exceeded expectations, and some of us 👀 are going so far as to call this the COFFEE OF THE YEAR.
What’s it taste like? How about Rose Lemonade sipped from a rosegold punch bowl in a room replete with mid-century modern fixtures and finishes. How about that?
As our last drop of the year, it’s got damn good potential to be your FIRST sip of the year if you time this out right ;)
